‘Deadpool & Wolverine’ Final Trailer: Lady Deadpool’s Full Reveal and Dafne Keen’s Return Highlight the ‘Logan’ Reunion Fans Have Anticipated

Marvel Studios has released the final trailer for Deadpool & Wolverine, revealing two significant surprises. One of the highlights is the full unveiling of Lady Deadpool, alongside numerous other variants of the Merc with the Mouth. Previous teasers hinted at Lady Deadpool’s appearance, but this trailer marks her complete debut. Now, fans are left to guess which actor is beneath the mask—could it be Blake Lively or Taylor Swift?

An even more thrilling revelation in the final trailer is the return of Dafne Keen, who captivated audiences as the young mutant X-23 in 2017’s Logan, where she starred alongside Hugh Jackman. Logan was supposed to be Jackman’s final portrayal of Wolverine until he decided to reprise the role for the new Deadpool film. Jackman has clarified that he’s portraying a different version of Wolverine, distinct from the one who died in Logan, leaving fans uncertain if Keen would join the new project.

Interestingly, Keen had consistently denied her involvement in Deadpool & Wolverine during promotions for her role in The Acolyte. She expressed her disappointment about not reuniting with Jackman, telling On Demand Entertainment on The Acolyte red carpet, “Of course it’s sad. I love Hugh and creatively, I love Ryan [Reynolds] and I love Shawn [Levy]. I’m really excited to see what they’ve made. I think Shawn is one of the best directors out there right now. Obviously, Ryan’s a legend. It would have been amazing to be part of it, but I’ll just go watch it as a fan, to see my old buddy in it.”

In another conversation with ComicBook.com, Keen reflected on the significant attention surrounding the possibility of her appearance in Deadpool & Wolverine, highlighting the enduring impact of Logan. She remarked, “What goes through your head is, first of all, how cool that something is that big that it seeps and bleeds into other projects. And how cool it is that I got to be a part of something that had such a huge legacy that almost 10 years later I’m still being asked about and that just feels pretty huge.”

Deadpool & Wolverine is set to hit theaters on July 26. Check out the final trailer below to see the exciting reveals for yourself.
